Our Focus
Los Angeles is more than just where we live. It is America's second largest city, home to over 4 million people, and over 18 million call the greater Los Angeles area their home. The Gentlemen's Social Club of Los Angeles is committed to giving back to our community and we believe that by working together to face common problems we can help to make our home a better place. To that end we've partnered with some great local organizations to help give back.
Charities We Work With
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
Over 1.4 million people in the Los Angeles area face food insecurity, not knowing where their next meal is coming from. Since 1973 the LA Regional Food Bank has distributed more than 1 billion pounds of food and they fed over 15 million people in 2016.
Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots is a program founded by the United States Marine Corps to
provide children in poverty with new, unopened toys every Christmas. Started in 1947 in Los Angeles, California, today they distribute over 16 million toys to needy kids annually.
Our
Events
Events
Our volunteer efforts are one of the cornerstones of our club and we're proud of the work we've been able to do. Once a month we host a group volunteer event at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to pitch in sorting food for needy families across Los Angeles. At our last competition we raised over 300 lbs. of food and $1,000 cast for the Food Bank. Our Christmas party produced dozens of new toys for Toys for Tots. Everyone is welcome and we always appreciate a helping hand. Check out our Facebook
